PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device and an image processing device, which can output stably images in which joint streaks are inconspicuous even though recording conditions such as types of ink and types of recording media are changed variously.SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device performs correction processing to image data corresponding to a discharge port group positioned at one end part of a discharge port array in a first recording scan and image data corresponding to a discharge port group positioned at the other end part in a second recording scan. On this occasion, the number of discharge ports included in the first discharge port group and the number of discharge ports included in the second discharge port group are adjusted according to recording conditions. This allows areas in which dots can increased or reduced to be determined appropriately according to the recording conditions. 【課題】インクの種類や記録媒体の種類など、記録条件が様々に変化した場合であっても、つなぎスジの無い画像を安定して出力することが可能なインクジェット記録装置および画像処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】第１の記録走査において吐出口列の一方の端部に位置する吐出口群に対応する画像データと、第２の記録走査において他方の端部に位置する吐出口群に対応する画像データに、補正処理を実行する。この際、第１の吐出口群に含まれる吐出口の数と第２の吐出口群に含まれる吐出口の数を、記録条件に応じて調整する。これにより、ドットを追加したり削減したりすることが出来る領域を、記録条件に応じて適正化できる。【選択図】図８
