Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slave station device which can send a small amount of optical signals, when the volume of user data from a user device is small.SOLUTION: A slave station device connected with a master station device by an optical transmission line includes: a wireless reception unit for receiving wireless SC-FDMA signal of uplink from a user device; a Fourier transformation unit for transforming a digital signal in a time-domain derived from the wireless SC-FDMA signal into a frequency region signal; a data volume reduction unit for converting the frequency region signal into a reduced frequency region signal, by converting a resource block, to which the user data is not assigned, into a reduced resource block having a smaller data volume, in the frequency region signal. 【課題】ユーザ装置からのユーザデータの量が少ない場合には、少ない量の光信号を光伝送路に送出することができる子局装置を提供する。【解決手段】親局装置に光伝送路で接続される子局装置が、ユーザ装置から上りリンクの無線SC−FDMA信号を受信する無線受信部と、無線SC−FDMA信号に由来する時間領域のデジタル信号を周波数領域信号に変換するフーリエ変換部と、周波数領域信号において、ユーザデータが割り当てられていないリソースブロックを、よりデータ量が小さい削減リソースブロックに変換することにより、周波数領域信号を削減周波数領域信号に変換するデータ量削減部と、削減周波数領域信号を光信号に変換する電気光変換器とを備える。【選択図】図2
