Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate or resolve a problem such as accumulation of deposit and life shortening of an injector due to a rise in injector temperature in a port injection-type internal combustion engine where the injector for injecting fuel is disposed in the vicinity of an air-intake port.SOLUTION: In the port injection-type internal combustion engine where the injector 11 for injecting fuel is disposed in the vicinity of the air-intake port 52, the injector 11 is supported to be relatively displaceable with respect to the air-intake port 52 so that the injector 11 comes close to the air-intake port 52 using fluid pressure, that is to say fuel pressure, generated during operation of the internal combustion engine.
【課題】燃料を噴射するインジェクタを吸気ポートの近傍に配置したポート噴射式の内燃機関において、インジェクタの昇温に起因するデポジットの堆積や短命化等の不具合を緩和ないし解消する。【解決手段】燃料を噴射するインジェクタ11を吸気ポート52の近傍に配置したポート噴射式の内燃機関において、インジェクタ11を吸気ポート52に対して相対的に変位可能であるように支持させ、内燃機関の運転中に生じる流体圧力即ち燃料圧力を利用してインジェクタ11を吸気ポート52に近づけるようにした。【選択図】図2 |
