Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolytic solution air battery using at least one of calcium, magnesium, and zinc as electric charge carriers, which can be used as a secondary battery.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte air secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode including oxygen as a positive electrode active material; a negative electrode; and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution including a supporting electrolyte including an ionic liquid, trifluoromethanesulfonate anions, and divalent metal cations of at least one metal selected from a group consisting of Mg, Ca and Zn. At least one of the positive electrode and the nonaqueous electrolytic solution includes a radical compound having a radical skeleton.
