PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize illuminance of light which has two or more different spread angles and to make the spread angles a same angle.SOLUTION: A spread angle equalization device includes: a rod integrator 111 which is made of a cylinder or a polygonal pillar; and a cladding layer 112 which is optically contacted to a side of the rod integrator 111 and reflects light of a spread angle smaller than a critical angle of an interface between the rod integrator 111 and the cladding layer 112. 【課題】２つ以上の異なる広がり角を有する光の照度を均一化させることができ、かつ広がり角を同じ角度にすることができる。【解決手段】円柱または多角柱からなるロッドインテグレータ１１１と、ロッドインテグレータ１１１の側面に光学的に接し、当該ロッドインテグレータ１１１と自身との界面の臨界角より小さい広がり角の光を反射するクラッド層１１２とを備えた。【選択図】図１
