The surface layer 114 is a single resin surface layer, or a laminate formed of the resin surface layer and an outermost surface layer. On the elastic layer, at least, a resin surface layer having a sea-island structure in which a diameter of an island part is 0.5-3 μm, and having a breaking elongation of 20-180% is formed. 【課題】クラックの発生及びブレードの捲れを抑制しうる転写部材を提供する。【解決手段】二次転写ロール１１１は、支持体１１２と、支持体上に設けられた弾性層１１３と、弾性層上に設けられた表面層１１４と、を備える。表面層１１４は、樹脂表面層の単独層であるか、樹脂表面層と最表面層との積層体である。少なくとも、弾性層上に、島部の径が０．５μｍ以上３μｍ以下である海島構造を有し、且つ、破断時の伸びが２０％以上１８０％以下である樹脂表面層を備えている。【選択図】図１
