Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize improvement of vibration detection accuracy during washing operation.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: a drum 11; a water tub 13 for including the drum and storing washing water; a motor 12 for rotationally driving the drum; a housing 10 for accommodating the water tub; a vibration detection device 17 which detects vibration of a plurality of directions of the water tub 13 and which is constituted of a digital output type acceleration sensor capable of switching a plurality of acceleration detection ranges; and control means 20 for controlling the motor and the vibration detection device on the basis of the output of the vibration detection device 17. By switching the acceleration detection ranges for each direction or for all the directions according to the detected acceleration, the vibration detection is performed in a further accurate state by using the detection range of high sensitivity. 【課題】洗濯運転中の振動検知精度向上を実現すること。【解決手段】ドラム11と、ドラムを内包し洗濯水を溜める水槽13と、ドラムを回転駆動するモータ12と、水槽を収容する筐体10と、水槽13の複数方向の振動を検出するとともに複数の加速度検出範囲を切り替えることが可能なデジタル出力式の加速度センサで構成された振動検知装置17と、この振動検知装置17の出力をもとに前記モータ及び振動検知装置を制御する制御手段20とを備え、方向毎または全ての方向の加速度検出範囲を、検出される加速度に応じて切り替えることによって、感度の高い検知範囲を用いてより的確な状態で振動検知を行うようにしたものである。【選択図】図1
