Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer having excellent thermal decomposition resistance obtained using a macromonomer and another (meth) acryl monomer, a method of producing the same, a molding material comprising a polymer and a molded article obtained by molding a molding material.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method of producing a polymer wherein a polymer (X) obtained by polymerization of a monomer mixture used in a step 1 comprising a specific macromonomer (a) and a monomer (b) copolymerizable with the macromonomer (a) is dissolved in a specific solvent (S1) and then mixed with a specific poor solvent (S2) for reprecipitation of a desired polymer.
