PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna matching circuit of simple configuration in which the variation range of impedance of the available antennas is wide, and to provide a control method therefor.SOLUTION: A matching section 11 of an antenna matching circuit includes a terminal P1 for connection with the antenna side, a terminal P2 for connection with the transmission and reception circuit side, a phase shifter PS1 and a variable capacitance element VC1. The phase shifter PS1 is connected in series between the terminals P1 and P2. The variable capacitance element VC1 is connected between the terminals P1 and P2. 【課題】対応できるアンテナのインピーダンスの変動範囲が広い、簡素な構成のアンテナ整合回路およびその制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】アンテナ整合回路の整合部１１は、アンテナ側に接続される端子Ｐ１、送受信回路側に接続される端子Ｐ２、移相器ＰＳ１および可変容量素子ＶＣ１を備える。移相器ＰＳ１は端子Ｐ１と端子Ｐ２との間に直列接続されている。可変容量素子ＶＣ１は端子Ｐ１と端子Ｐ２との間に接続されている。【選択図】図３
