PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a word bilingual degree estimation device for estimating the bilingual degree of a word pair from a plurality of bilingual text pairs of two different languages.SOLUTION: The word bilingual degree estimation deice 1 includes word translation probability calculation means 15 for calculating a first translation probability that a word in one language is translated into a word in the other language, and a second translation probability in the opposite direction, word link number totaling means 16 for defining a smaller one between a number obtained by multiplying the number of words in on language by the first translation probability and a number obtained by multiplying the number of words in the other language as a link number of word pairs and totaling the link numbers in a plurality of translation test pairs, correlation intensity calculation means 17 for calculating a logarithmic likelihood ratio of word pairs on the basis of the totaled link numbers, and bilingual degree determination means 18 for determining whether a word pair has a bilingual relation on the basis of the totaled link numbers and defining a logarithmic likelihood ratio to word pairs having a bilingual relation as a bilingual degree. 【課題】２つの異なる言語の複数の対訳テキスト対から単語対の対訳度を推定する単語対訳度推定装置を提供する。【解決手段】単語対訳度推定装置１は、一方の言語の単語から他方の言語の単語に翻訳される第１の翻訳確率と、その逆方向の第２の翻訳確率とを計算する単語翻訳確率計算手段１５と、一方の言語の単語数に第１の翻訳確率を乗算した数と、他方の言語の単語数に第２の翻訳確率を乗算した数との小さい方を単語対のリンク数とし、複数の対訳テキスト対において累計する単語リンク数累計手段１６と、累計されたリンク数に基づいて単語対の対数尤度比を計算する関連性強度計算手段１７と、累計されたリンク数に基づいて単語対が対訳関係を有するか否かを判定し、対訳関係を有する単語対に対する対数尤度比を対訳度とする対訳度判定手段１８と、を備えることを特徴とする。【選択図】図１
