Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture medium information registration system and the like which can accurately execute detection of colonies and counting of colonies even when color development in colonies is low, and accurately register culture medium information including information on the detected colonies and the number of detected colonies in a database.SOLUTION: A sanitation management system S, when acquiring color feature amounts of constituent pixels constituting a culture medium image of a film type culture medium 60 on which colonies are formed, calculates a color change amount of the color feature amount with respect to periphery constituent pixels in each constituent pixel on the basis of color feature amounts of the periphery constituent pixels existing in the periphery of each constituent pixel, calculates a color change feature amount indicating the change in color of each constituent pixel on the basis of the distribution of the color change amounts of the periphery constituent pixels, and executes detection of colonies and counting of the colonies on the basis of the calculated color change feature amount of each constituent pixel. 【課題】コロニーにおける発色が弱い場合であっても、コロニーの検出、及び、コロニーの計数を的確に実行し、検出されたコロニー及びその数に関する情報を含む培地情報をデータベースに的確に登録することが可能な培地情報登録システム等を提供すること。【解決手段】衛生管理システムＳは、コロニーが形成されたフィルム型培地６０の培地画像を構成する構成ピクセルの色特徴量を取得すると、各構成ピクセルの周囲に存在する周囲構成ピクセルの色特徴量に基づいて、各構成ピクセルにおける周囲構成ピクセルに対する色特徴量の色変化量を算出するとともに、かつ、周囲構成ピクセルの色変化量の分布に基づいて、各構成ピクセルの色の変化を示す色変化特徴量を算出し、算出した各構成ピクセルの色変化特徴量に基づいてコロニーの検出及びその計数を実行する構成を有している。【選択図】図１
