Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet-ray curable liquid developer that can provide high optical density, suppresses the occurrence of an image blur, and has sufficient fixability.SOLUTION: There is provided an ultraviolet-ray curable liquid developer including a cationic polymerizable liquid monomer, a photopolymerization initiator, and toner particles insoluble to the cationic polymerizable liquid monomer, where the cationic polymerizable liquid monomer is a vinyl ether compound, and the photopolymerization initiator is a compound having a specific structure. 【課題】 高い光学濃度が得られると共に画像ボケを生じにくく、充分な定着性を有する紫外線硬化型液体現像剤を提供すること。【解決手段】 カチオン重合性液状モノマー、光重合開始剤、前記カチオン重合性液状モノマーに不溶なトナー粒子を含む紫外線硬化型液体現像剤であって、前記カチオン重合性液状モノマーがビニルエーテル化合物であり、前記光重合開始剤が特定の構造を有する化合物であることを特徴とする紫外線硬化型液体現像剤。【選択図】 なし
