Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder for obtaining an oriented body that is strong, has a small pore size, and exhibits superior homogeneity.SOLUTION: The present invention is a modified polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder characterized by having non-molten secondary workability, having a standard specific gravity of 2.155 or lower, containing 0.015 mol% or more polymerized units derived from perfluoro(methylvinylether) relative to the total monomer units, being obtained by emulsion copolymerization of tetrafluoroethylene and at least perfluoro(methylvinylether) in the presence of a fluorine-containing surfactant having a Log POW of 3.4 or less, and having an extrusion pressure of 20.0 MPa or lower. 【課題】高強度、小孔径かつ均質性に優れる延伸体が得られる変性ポリテトラフルオロエチレンファインパウダーを提供する。【解決手段】非溶融二次加工性を有し、標準比重が2.155以下であり、全単量体単位に対して0.015モル%以上のパーフルオロ(メチルビニルエーテル)に由来する重合単位を含み、LogPOWが3.4以下である含フッ素界面活性剤存在下に、テトラフルオロエチレンと少なくともパーフルオロ(メチルビニルエーテル)を乳化共重合して得られ、押出圧力が20.0MPa以下であることを特徴とする変性ポリテトラフルオロエチレンファインパウダー。【選択図】 なし
