Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to reduction of management cost (including the paging cost) of a mobile terminal in which downlink traffic is generated frequently while staying in the idle state.SOLUTION: Network nodes (100, 200, or 300) determines the expiration period of idle inactivity time (101 or 301) used for determining the state transition of a mobile terminal (300) from the connected state to the idle state, based on the frequency of occurrence of downlink traffic addressed to the mobile terminal (300) while staying in the idle state. 【課題】アイドル状態に留まっている間にダウンリンクトラフィックが頻繁に発生する移動端末の管理コスト（ページング処理コストを含む）の低減に寄与する。【解決手段】ネットワークノード（１００、２００、又は３００）は、コネクテッド状態からアイドル状態への移動端末（３００）の状態遷移を決定するために用いられるidle inactivity time（１０１又は３０１）の満了期間を、移動端末（３００）がアイドル状態に留まっている間における移動端末（３００宛てのダウンリンクトラフィックの発生頻度に基づいて決定する。【選択図】図２
