Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position estimation system that can estimate a position even when not necessarily using a GPS.SOLUTION: A position estimation system comprises: a first device (3) that includes distance-metering signal transmission means (7) for transmitting a distance-metering signal, reflection wave reception means (7) for receiving a reflection wave, and relative position calculation means (7) for calculating a relative position of an object on the basis of the distance-metering signal and reflection wave; and a second device (5) that includes distance-metering signal detection means (19) for detecting the distance-metering signal, and position information transmission means (25) for transmitting position information as a detection condition of the distance-metering signal. The first device comprises: position information reception means (9) for receiving the position information; and absolute position calculation means (17) for, as a reception condition of the position information, calculating a relative position of the second device, and calculating an absolute position of the first device on the basis of the relative position and the position information.
