PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head structure for an internal combustion engine, for positively discharging oil while increasing its sealing performance between a cylinder head and a cylinder block.SOLUTION: The cylinder head structure for an internal combustion engine 1 having a transmitting member 5 for transmitting power from a crank shaft 4 to a valve train 9 includes a valve chest 11 storing the valve train 9, a storage chamber 8 storing the transmitting member 5, a partition wall 10separating the storage chamber 8 and the valve chest 11 from each other, and an oil hole 17 provided in the partition wall 10for allowing oil to drop from the valve chest 11 through the partition wall 10while running along a through-hole 15f of a fastening bolt 40 joining a cylinder head 10 and a cylinder block 2. 【課題】内燃機関のシリンダヘッド構造に関し、オイルを積極的に排出するとともに、シリンダヘッドとシリンダブロックとのシール性を高める。【解決手段】クランク軸４から動弁機構９へ動力を伝達する伝達部材５を有する内燃機関１のシリンダヘッド構造であって、動弁機構９を収納する動弁室１１と、伝達部材５を収納する収納室８と、収納室８と動弁室１１とを隔てる隔壁１０FRと、隔壁１０FRに設けられ、動弁室１１のオイルをシリンダヘッド１０とシリンダブロック２とを結合する締結ボルト４０の挿通孔１５ｆに沿うように隔壁１０FRを落下させるオイル孔１７と、を備える。【選択図】図６
