Multiple kinds of control devices including at least the ECU are collectively mounted to the control box 51. 【課題】制御機器及び電気部品等のメンテナンス性を向上させた船舶用エンジンを提供する。【解決手段】船舶用エンジンは、エンジン本体と、ＥＣＵ（エンジン制御部）と、制御ボックス５１と、を備える。エンジン本体は、シリンダブロック及びシリンダヘッドを含んで構成される。ＥＣＵは、エンジン本体に取り付けられた各部品の制御を行う。制御ボックス５１には、少なくともＥＣＵを含む複数種類の制御機器がまとめて取り付けられている。【選択図】図８
