PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet production apparatus which can prevent fine powder of fibers and the like from being discharged to the outside of a housing part.SOLUTION: The sheet production apparatus includes: a drum part in which a material comprising at least fibers passes through a plurality of openings; a transportation part in which the material passed through the drum part accumulates in the air as a web and which transports the web; a housing part which covers the drum part, contacts with the web on a downstream side in a transportation direction of the web and contacts with the transportation part on an upstream side in the transportation direction of the web than the part which contacts on the downstream side; and a forming part which forms a sheet using the web. 【課題】繊維等の微粉をハウジング部の外に排出されることを防ぐ。【解決手段】少なくとも繊維を含む材料が複数の開口を通過するドラム部と、前記ドラム部を通過した前記材料がウエブとして空気中で堆積し、前記ウエブを搬送する搬送部と、前記ドラム部を覆い、前記ウエブの搬送方向の下流側において前記ウエブと接し、前記下流側で接する部分よりも前記ウエブの搬送方向の上流側において前記搬送部と接するハウジング部と、前記ウエブを用いてシートを成形する成形部と、を備える。【選択図】図４
