PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy ray-curable composition capable of providing a coated film excellent in scratch resistance, shock resistance, substrate followability and adhesiveness and an article using the same, including a body of consumer electronics such as a refrigerator, a television, an air conditioner of the like and a remote control thereof, a body of information terminals such as a mobile, a smart phone, a tablet, a personal computer or the like, automobile parts and plastic molded articles such as automobile interior materials.SOLUTION: An active energy ray-curable composition contains (meth)acrylate (A) having a structure which alkylene oxide is added to polyglycerol, and urethane (meth)acrylate (B), and the mass ratio of the (meth)acrylate (A) and the urethane (meth)acrylate (B), [(A)/(B)], is in a range of 95/5 to 50/50. 【課題】耐擦傷性、耐衝撃性、基材追従性、及び密着性に優れる塗膜を得ることができる活性エネルギー線硬化性組成物及びそれを用いた物品を提供する。前記物品としては、例えば、冷蔵庫、テレビ、エアコン等の家電製品の本体及びそのリモコン、携帯電話、スマートフォン、タブレット、パソコン等の情報端末の筐体、自動車部品、自動車内装材などのプラスチック成形品が挙げられる。【解決手段】ポリグリセリンにアルキレンオキサイドを付加した構造を有する（メタ）アクリレート（Ａ）とウレタン（メタ）アクリレート（Ｂ）とを含有する活性エネルギー線硬化性組成物であって、前記（メタ）アクリレート（Ａ）と前記ウレタン（メタ）アクリレート（Ｂ）との質量比［（Ａ）／（Ｂ）］が、９５／５〜５０／５０の範囲であることを特徴とする活性エネルギー線硬化性組成物を用いる。【選択図】なし
