Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an amide compound by subjecting an oxime to Beckmann rearrangement, the method not producing a large amount of by-products such as ammonium sulfate or the like and capable of producing an amide compound with higher quality.SOLUTION: The method for producing an amide compound comprises: a step (oximation step) of reacting ketone and a hydroxylamine in the presence of an organic solvent to produce an oxime; a step of subjecting the oxime to Beckmann rearrangement using a Beckmann rearrangement catalyst to thereby produce an amide compound; and a step (solvent recycling step) of separating the produced amide compound from the solvent and recycling the separated solvent in the oximation step. The contents of a halide, an aldehyde compound, an alcohol compound and a nitrile compound in the solvent separated by the solvent recycling step and recycled in the oximation step, respectively, are controlled to an amount of 0.4 mol% or less with respect to the ketone as a raw material. 【課題】オキシムをベックマン転位させ、アミド化合物を製造する方法であって、硫酸アンモニウムなどの副生物を大量に副生せず、より高品質のアミド化合物を得ることのできる製造方法の提供。【解決手段】ケトンとヒドロキシルアミンとを、有機溶媒の存在下で反応させ、オキシムを生成する工程(オキシム化工程)と、ベックマン転位触媒を用いて、オキシムをベックマン転位させることによりアミド化合物を製造する工程と、製造されたアミド化合物と溶媒とを分離し、分離した溶媒をオキシム化工程にリサイクルする工程(溶媒リサイクル工程)と、を含むアミド化合物の製造方法であって、前記溶媒リサイクル工程により分離され、オキシム化工程にリサイクルされる溶媒中のハロゲン化物、アルデヒド化合物、アルコール化合物、ニトリル化合物の含有量を、それぞれ原料であるケトンに対して0.4モル%以下とすることを特徴とする、アミド化合物の製造方法。【選択図】なし
