Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device in which, when a sheet bundle is generated, a binding stress on a sheet is reduced, and movement of a sheet on which an adhesive is applied is decreased relatively, so that it is eliminated that the adhesive sticks to other than a sheet at a transportation path and a stack part, for precise application of an adhesive to a sheet and precision stacking of a next sheet which is then applied with the adhesive.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device includes a carrying-in route 41 for carrying in a sheet, and an escape route 47 which is branched from the carrying-in route 41 for allowing at least a part of sheets accumulated at a stacker part to escape in the direction opposite to the carrying-in direction. A bonding means 50 disposed at a position where the carrying-in route and the escape route join together, and at carrying of a next sheet into a stacker part 40, an application position of a preceding sheet on which an adhesive is applied is escaped to the escape route 47, and after that, the next sheet is moved to a bonding position to be applied with the adhesive, which procedures are sequentially repeated to generate a sheet bundle. 【課題】シート束を生成の際に、シートへの綴じストレスを小さくし、また、接着剤が塗布されたシートの移動を比較的少なくして、搬送路やスタック部でシート以外に接着剤が付着することをなくすとともに、シートへの接着剤の塗布やこれから接着剤を塗布する次シートとの重ね合わせを精度よく行わせる装置の提供。【解決手段】シートにシートを搬入させる搬入経路41と、スタッカ部に集積されたシートの少なくとも一部を搬入方向と反対方向に退避させる搬入経路41から分岐した退避経路47とを備えたシート処理装置であって、前記接着手段50を上記搬入経路と退避経路の合流した位置に配置するとともに、次シートのスタッカ部40への搬入時に接着剤が塗布された先行シートの塗布位置を退避経路47に退避させ、その後次シートを接着位置に移動して接着剤を塗布し、これらを順次繰り返してシート束を生成する。【選択図】図2
