PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide packing material having aesthetic appearance and high rigidity.SOLUTION: A plurality of folding line parts arranged on the same straight line and with an interposed space and cutting parts which communicates adjacent sides of the plurality of folding line parts and has convex shape are formed on plane sheet material. Thereby, the sheet material is separated into first sheet parts comprising tongue parts arranged inside of the cutting parts and second sheet parts comprising recessed parts arranged outside of the cutting parts. The packing material is folded in a manner where the plurality of folding line parts are to be mountain lines or valley lines so that the first sheet parts arranged on the same plane comprising the tongue part cross with the second sheet parts. In a state where the sheet material is plane, at the cutting parts, slits are formed in a manner where at least one part of the tongue parts are separated from recessed parts. 【課題】外観の審美性及び、高い剛性を有する梱包材を提供する。【解決手段】平面状のシート材に、同一直線上に離間して配置される複数の折線部と、複数の折線部の近接側同士を繋ぐ凸形状の切込部とを形成することにより、該シート材を切込部の内側の舌片部を含む第一シート部と、切込部の外側の凹状部を含む第二シート部とに区画し、複数の折線部を稜線又は谷線としてシート材を折り曲げることで、舌片部を含んで同一平面に配置される第一シート部と、第二シート部とが交差配置される梱包材であって、シート材が平面状をなす状態で、切込部には舌片部と凹状部との間の少なくとも一部が互いに離間するようにスリットが形成されていることを特徴とする。【選択図】図２
