Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high-quality display maintaining gradation irrespective of high luminance display driving or low luminance display driving when display luminance is changed by dimming or the like.SOLUTION: A scan line drive signal for setting each scan line into a selection state in a predetermined order is outputted to the scan line of a display part including pixels formed corresponding to a cross point between a data line and the scan line. In a blanking period between a selection period in which a scan line is in the selection state and a selection period in which another scan line is then in the selection state, the scan line drive signal for all scan line is set at a low level (L blanking drive) in high luminance display driving and at a high level (H blanking drive) in low luminance display driving.
【課題】ディミング等により表示輝度の変化が行われる場合に、高輝度表示駆動、低輝度表示駆動に関わらず階調が維持された高品位な表示を実現する。【解決手段】データ線と走査線の交差点に対応して画素が形成されている表示部の走査線に対して、各走査線を所定順序で選択状態とする走査線駆動信号を出力する。そして或る走査線を選択状態とする選択期間とその次に他の走査線を選択状態とする選択期間との間のブランキング期間は、全ての走査線について走査線駆動信号は、高輝度表示駆動の際はローレベル(Lブランキング駆動)、低輝度表示駆動の際はハイレベル(Hブランキング駆動)となるようにする。【選択図】図4 |
