Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb differences among a large variety of protocols to achieve appropriate relay processing of data.SOLUTION: A relay device comprises: a receiving and processing unit 311 which receives data compliant to any of a plurality of kinds of communication protocols from a first network 2, analyzes a data structure of the received data, and converts information included in common in data of the communication protocols to common data of a predetermined format; a transmission processing unit 312 for transmitting data corresponding to any of the plurality of kinds of communication protocols to a second network 4; and a relay control unit 313 for controlling a communication protocol and address of the received data to be transmitted from the transmission processing unit 312 to the second network 4, on the basis of the common data and a relay rule defined for the common data. 【課題】多種多様なプロトコルの相違を吸収し、データの適切な中継処理を実現する。【解決手段】第1のネットワーク2から複数種類の通信プロトコルのいずれかに対応したデータを受信し、受信データのデータ構造を解析して前記通信プロトコルのデータに共通に含まれる情報を所定形式の共通データに変換する受信処理部311と、第2のネットワーク4へ複数種類の通信プロトコルのいずれかに対応したデータを送信する送信処理部312と、前記共通データと前記共通データに対して定義された中継ルールとに基づいて、送信処理部312から第2のネットワーク4へ送信する前記受信データの通信プロトコルと宛先とを制御する中継制御部313と、を備える。【選択図】図3
