PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery system in which an emission direction of gas produced inside an outer packaging body can be controlled.SOLUTION: A battery system 10 includes: a battery 20 having an outer packaging body 30 housing a power generation element; and a plurality of battery restriction means for pressurizing the outer packaging body 30 in a direction to push and prevent expansion of the outer packaging body 30 caused due to gas produced inside the outer packaging body 30.
