PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an original printing plate with reduced deposition of foreign substances on the plate surface, excellent in ink repelling properties, sensitivity and image reproducibility; and an original printing plate which requires no special procedures or device for removing a plastic film or a protective coating layer, with reduced waste derived from the plastic film or the protective coating layer.SOLUTION: The original printing plate includes at least a photosensitive layer or a heat-sensitive layer, and a silicone rubber layer on a substrate in this order. The silicone rubber layer includes at least two layers having different hardness. Alternatively the original printing plate includes at least a photosensitive layer or a heat-sensitive layer, and a silicone rubber layer on a substrate in this order. The silicone rubber layer includes at least one layer having hardness gradually decreasing from the surface toward the substrate side. 【課題】版表面への異物の付着が抑制され、インキ反発性に優れ、かつ、感度や画像再現性が良好な印刷版原版を提供すること。また、プラスチックフィルムや保護被覆層を除去するための特別な操作や除去装置を用いる必要がなく、かつ、プラスチックフィルムや保護被覆層由来の廃棄物が少ない印刷版原版を提供すること。【解決手段】基板上に少なくとも感光層または感熱層と、シリコーンゴム層をこの順に有する印刷版原版であって、該シリコーンゴム層が硬さの異なる２層以上の層からなることを特徴とする印刷版原版、または、基板上に少なくとも感光層または感熱層と、シリコーンゴム層をこの順に有する印刷版原版であって、該シリコーンゴム層が、表層から基板側に硬さが傾斜的に低下する層を少なくとも１層有することを特徴とする印刷版原版。【選択図】なし
