Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cationic electrodeposition coating composition having an excellent finish quality and anticorrosion property and being capable of forming an electrodeposition film which has good undercoat sensitivity, especially even when chemical treatment conditions of a chemically treated metal to be coated is not good.SOLUTION: Provided is a cationic electrodeposition coating composition comprising an amino group-containing epoxy resin (A), a blocked isocyanate compound (B), and metal ion-exchanged silica (C). A content of the metal ion-exchanged silica (C) is 0.1 to 100 pts. mass relative to total 100 pts. mass of the amino group-containing epoxy resin (A) and the blocked isocyanate compound (B). The metal ion in the metal ion-exchanged silica (C) is at least one selected from a calcium ion, a magnesium ion, a cobalt ion, a nickel ion, and a lithium ion.
【課題】 仕上がり性及び防食性に優れ、特に化成処理が施された金属被塗物の化成処理状態が良好でない場合であっても、下地敏感性が良好な電着塗膜を形成し得るカチオン電着塗料組成物を提供すること。【解決手段】 アミノ基含有エポキシ樹脂(A)、ブロックイソシアネート化合物(B)及び金属イオン交換シリカ(C)を含有するカチオン電着塗料組成物であって、アミノ基含有エポキシ樹脂(A)とブロックイソシアネート化合物(B)の固形分合計100質量部に対して、金属イオン交換シリカ(C)の含有量が、0.1〜100質量部であり、かつ金属イオン交換シリカ(C)の金属イオンが、カルシウムイオン、マグネシウムイオン、コバルトイオン、ニッケルイオン、リチウムイオンから選ばれる少なくとも1種であることを特徴とするカチオン電着塗料組成物。【選択図】なし |
