Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die coater capable of improving a film thickness distribution in the width direction of a coated film and suppressing the length of the coated film, and a manufacturing method of a coated film.SOLUTION: A die coater comprises: a die block body including a manifold and a slit communicating with the manifold for discharging a coating liquid; and a spacer arranged at each of the two widthwise end parts of the slit for defining the width of a passage of the coating liquid.
