Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof sound-transmitting film which prevents water from going into the housing from the outside when set on an opening of the housing of an electronic device or the like, and which allows a property of sound transmitted therein to be ensured even when its effective area is reduced.SOLUTION: A waterproof sound-transmitting film comprises: a non-porous resin film having through-holes formed therein and piercing the non-porous resin film in a thickness direction; and a liquid-repellent layer formed on a principal face of the resin film, and having openings corresponding to the through-holes in position. The through-holes have a diameter of 4.0-12.0 μm. When shown by a fragile number measured in compliance with JIS L1096, the waterproof sound-transmitting film has a permeability of 2.0-50 cm/(cmsecond) in its thickness direction. 【課題】電子機器などの筐体の開口に配置されたときに、外部から筐体内への水の浸入を防ぎながら、有効面積を減少させた場合においても伝達される音の特性が確保された防水通音膜を提供する。【解決手段】厚さ方向に貫通する複数の貫通孔が形成された非多孔質の樹脂フィルムと、樹脂フィルムの主面上に形成された、上記複数の貫通孔と対応する位置に開口を有する撥液層とを備え、貫通孔の径が4.0μm以上12.0μm以下であり、JIS L1096の規定に準拠して測定したフラジール数で示して、2.0cm3/(cm2・秒)以上50cm3/(cm2・秒)以下の通気度を厚さ方向に有する防水通音膜とする。【選択図】図1A
