Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for encoding and decoding a coding unit of a picture boundary.SOLUTION: The method comprises: a step of decoding a current coding unit indicating that a division information parsed from a bitstream is not divided into the current coding unit when the current coding unit does not contain a region that deviates from a boundary of the current picture; and a step of determining at least one of the current coding unit divided from the current coding unit when the current coding unit contains the region that deviates from the boundary of the current picture. The current picture is divided into a plurality of maximum coding units and is hierarchically divided into coding units having a depth containing at least one of a current depth and a lower depth by the division information, when indicating that the division information is divided at the current depth, the current coding unit is divided into four coding units having the lower depth, and when indicating that the division information is not divided at the lower depth, at least one of prediction unit are acquired from the coding unit having the lower depth. 【課題】ピクチャ境界の符号化単位を復号化する方法及び装置を提供する。【解決手段】現在符号化単位が現在ピクチャの境界を外れた領域を含まない時、ビットストリームからパージングされた分割情報が現在符号化単位が分割されないことを示す時現在符号化単位を復号化する段階と、現在符号化単位が現在ピクチャの境界を外れた領域を含むとき、現在符号化単位から分割された少なくとも一つの符号化単位を決定する段階を含む。現在ピクチャは、複数の最大符号化単位に分割され、分割情報によって現在深度及び下位深度のうち少なくとも一つを含む深度の符号化単位に階層的に分割され、分割情報が現在深度で分割されることを示す時、現在符号化単位は正方形の下位深度の符号化単位に4分割され、分割情報が下位深度で分割されないことを示す時、一つ以上の予測単位は下位深度の符号化単位から獲得される。【選択図】図1
