PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester composition without causing foaming, spray formation, coloration, foam formation, generation of exhaust gas and unstable melt level during processing of a polyester.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyester composition which comprises: (I) a polyester comprising(a) a carboxylic acid component containing (i) 70 to 100 mol% of a tetrephthalic acid residue, (ii) 0 to 30 mol% of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid residue having 20 or less carbon atoms and (iii) 0 to 10 mol% of an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid residue having 16 or less carbon atoms and (b) a glycol component comprising (i) 1 to 99 mol% of 2,2,4,4-tetramethyl-1,3-cyclobutanediol residue; (ii) 1 to 99 mol% of a 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol residue; and (II) at least one thermal stabilizer selected from a phosphoric acid alkyl ester, a phosphoric acid aryl ester, a phosphoric acid alkyl aryl mixed ester, reaction products thereof and mixtures thereof. 【課題】ポリエステルの加工において，泡立ち、スプレー形成、着色、発泡、排ガス発生及び不安定なメルトレベルを起こさないポリエステル組成物。【解決手段】（Ｉ）（ａ）（ｉ）テレフタル酸残基；７０〜１００モル％、（ｉｉ）炭素数２０以下の芳香族ジカルボン酸残基；０〜３０モル％、（ｉｉｉ）炭素数１６以下の脂肪族ジカルボン酸残基；０〜１０モル％を含むジカルボン酸成分、並びに（ｂ）（ｉ）２，２，４，４−テトラメチル−１，３−シクロブタンジオール残基；１〜９９モル％、（ｉｉ）シクロヘキサンジメタノール残基１〜９９モル％を含むグリコール成分からなるポリエステルと、（ＩＩ）燐酸アルキルエステル、燐酸アリールエステル、燐酸アルキルアリール混成エステル、並びにそれらの反応生成物及びそれらの混合物から選ばれた少なくとも１種の熱安定剤と、を含むポリエステル組成物。【選択図】なし
