Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce occurrences of faults caused by a stress generated in a state in which an adhesive member is provided on the top end face of a frame.SOLUTION: A display device 100 includes an adhesive member 20 provided between a display surface 12a of a display panel 12 and a protective cover 11 so as to be in contact with the display surface 12a and the protective cover 11. The adhesive member 20 is provided over a top face 15u of an opening-side end, which is an end of a frame 15 and adjoins an opening H1 from the inside of the opening H1. In the opening-side end, a dent 15A is formed for reducing a stress caused in the adhesive member 20 by the adhesive member 20 coming into contact with the opening-side end. 【課題】フレームの端部の上面に粘着部材が設けられた状態で生じる応力を起因とする不具合の発生を低減する。【解決手段】表示装置100は、表示パネル12の表示面12aおよび前記保護カバー11に接するように、表示面12aと保護カバー11との間に設けられる粘着部材20を備える。粘着部材20は、開口H1の内部から、開口H1に接する、フレーム15の端部である開口側端部の上面15uに渡って設けられる。当該開口側端部には、粘着部材20が当該開口側端部に接することにより粘着部材20に発生する応力を低減する窪み15Aが形成される。【選択図】図2
