Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means by which a therapeutic effect can last longer period of time in a nerve block therapy by botulinum toxin infusion.SOLUTION: A physiological salt solution containing protein (A) with an apparent molecular weight of 140-150 kDa and an apparent isoelectric point of 6.10-6.40 and a diffusion-inhibiting additive is diffused within a plate agarose gel at 37°C, the protein (A) is dyed, and the gel is bleached. The invention provides a solubilizer for botulinum toxin formulations used for diffusion inhibition of formulations consisting of the physiological salt solution containing the diffusion-inhibiting additive at such a concentration that the ratio of a diffusion area of the protein (A) obtained by measuring a horizontal projection area of a dyed portion to the diffusion area of the protein (A) of the physiological salt solution which is free from the diffusion-inhibiting additive is 95% or less. 【課題】ボツリヌス毒素注入による神経ブロック療法において、治療効果をより長期にわたり持続させることができる手段を提供する。【解決手段】みかけの分子量が140〜150kDaであり、みかけの等電点が6.10〜6.40であるタンパク質(A)および拡散抑制添加剤を含有する生理食塩水溶液を、37℃において平板状アガロースゲル内で拡散させ、前記タンパク質(A)を染色し、前記ゲルを脱色し、染色された部分の水平投影面積を測定して得られるタンパク質(A)の拡散面積の、前記拡散抑制添加剤非含有である前記生理食塩水溶液のタンパク質(A)の拡散面積に対する比率が前記拡散抑制添加剤を95%以下となる濃度で含有する生理食塩水溶液からなる、製剤の拡散抑制に用いるボツリヌス毒素製剤用溶解剤。【選択図】なし
