PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight case body of an airbag device which can be manufactured inexpensively.SOLUTION: A case body of an airbag device includes an inner part 22 in which a lid part 32 is extended outward from an edge of an opening 40 of a storage part 31 in which a folded airbag 16 and an inflator 15 are held. The lid part 32 is reversely bent to the side of the opening 40, and the lid part 32 is fixed to the storage part 31 at a position where the airbag 16 stored in the storage part 31 is at least partly covered by the lid part 32. An outer part 21 is fixed by covering at least the position of the lid part 32. The inflator 15 and the folded airbag 16 are stored in the storage part 31 without integrating the storage part and the lid part after being installed separately, or without fixing the inflator 15 and the folded airbag 16 by using a different member, etc., and thus the lightweight case body 14 covered by the lid part 32 can be manufactured inexpensively. 【課題】軽量で安価に製造できるエアバッグ装置のケース体を提供する。【解決手段】折り畳んだエアバッグ16及びインフレータ15を内部に保持する収納部31の開口部40の縁部から外方に蓋部32を延設したインナ部22を構成する。蓋部32を開口部40側へと反転屈曲して、少なくとも一部が収納部31に収納したエアバッグ16を覆う位置で蓋部32を収納部31に固定する。少なくとも蓋部32の位置を覆ってアウタ部21を固着する。収納部と蓋部とを別個に設けて一体化したり、別途の部材などを用いてエアバッグ16やインフレータ15を固定したりすることなく、インフレータ15及び折り畳んだエアバッグ16を収納部31に収納し、かつ、蓋部32によって覆うケース体14を、軽量で安価に製造できる。【選択図】図１
