PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate, in a mobile terminal, the location of the mobile terminal itself by a fingerprint positioning technique while requiring a small storage capacity and arithmetic operation amount.SOLUTION: Provided is a mobile terminal for determining its own location by comparing an observation value at the mobile terminal of a wireless signal from a plurality of communication devices whose locations are fixed and a reference value that is the observation value or the prediction value of a wireless signal from each of the plurality of communication devices at each of a plurality of reference locations stored in a network including the plurality of communication devices, where the mobile terminal acquires a reference value corresponding to a geographical area including the location at which the mobile terminal is present from any of the plurality of communication devices, compares the acquired reference value corresponding to the geographical area and the observation value at the mobile terminal, and determines the location of the mobile terminal. 【課題】 移動体端末において、少ない記憶容量及び演算量でフィンガープリント測位方式により、移動体端末自身の位置を推定すること。【解決手段】 位置が固定された複数の通信装置からの無線信号の移動体端末における観測値と、その複数の通信装置を含むネットワークにおいて記憶された、複数の参照位置のそれぞれにおける複数の通信装置のそれぞれからの無線信号の観測値または予測値である参照値とを比較して、自らの位置を判定する移動体端末は、移動体端末が存在する位置を含む地理的領域に対応する参照値を、複数の通信装置の少なくともいずれかから取得し、取得した地理的領域に対応する参照値と、移動体端末における観測値とを比較して移動体端末の位置を判定する。【選択図】 図３
