Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine, mounted with an EGR device, capable of controlling the internal combustion engine by accurately acquiring a volume of fresh air flowing into a cylinder.SOLUTION: A control device of an internal combustion engine comprises the means to: calculate an exhaust inflowing fresh air volume Mex flowing from an air intake passage 12 to an exhaust passage 30 through a cylinder 12; calculate a fresh air ratio Regr of fresh air to be recirculated to the air intake passage 12 through an EGR passage 40 and lag time Tegr for the fresh air to be recirculated thereto on the basis of differential pressure between inlet pressure Pegr and outlet pressure Pac of the EGR passage 40; calculate a recirculated fresh air volume Mim to be recirculated to the cylinder through the EGR passage 40 and a recirculation time on the basis of the exhaust inflowing fresh air volume Mex, the fresh air ratio Regr and the lag time Tegr; and correct a cylinder inflowing air volume KL so that a fresh air volume taken into the cylinder is reduced by an amount corresponding to the recirculated fresh air volume Mim at the recirculation time. 【課題】EGR装置を備えた内燃機関において、筒内へ流入する新気量を正確に把握して内燃機関を制御することのできる内燃機関の制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】吸気通路12から筒内を経由して排気通路30へ流入する排気流入新気量Mexを算出する手段と、EGR通路40の入口圧力Pegrと出口圧力Pacとの差圧に基づいて、EGR通路40を介して吸気通路12へ還流される新気の新気割合Regr及び当該新気が還流されるまでの遅れ時間Tegrを算出する手段と、排気流入新気量Mex、新気割合Regr及び遅れ時間Tegrに基づいて、EGR通路40から筒内へ還流される還流新気量Mim及びその還流時期を算出する手段と、筒内に吸入される新気量が、還流時期において還流新気量Mimに相当する分減量されるように筒内流入空気量KLを補正する手段と、を備える。【選択図】図2
