Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly determine state of an injector of a cylinder direct injection type internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A device for controlling an internal combustion engine that controls the cylinder direct injection type internal combustion engine to be mounted to a vehicle detects relative displacement of the internal combustion engine relative to a vehicle body during a fuel cut period where a fuel cut condition is established and fuel injection to a cylinder 1 have to be temporarily stopped, estimates a torque level acting on a crankshaft 13 of the internal combustion engine by referring to the displacement and determines state of an injector 11 for injecting fuel. 【課題】筒内直接噴射式の内燃機関のインジェクタの状態を適切に判定できるようにする。【解決手段】車両に搭載される筒内直接噴射式の内燃機関を制御するものであって、燃料カット条件が成立して気筒1への燃料噴射を一時停止するべき燃料カット期間中に、内燃機関の車体に対する相対的な変位を検出し、その変位を参照して内燃機関のクランクシャフト13に作用しているトルクの大きさを推測するとともに、燃料を噴射するインジェクタ11の状態を判定する内燃機関の制御装置を構成した。【選択図】図1
