Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for refining a chromium containing molten steel, applicable regardless of a carbon content.SOLUTION: A method for refining a chromium containing molten steel, capable of removing phosphorus from the chromium containing molten steel comprises the dephosphorization step of adding CaO particles having CaO as a principal component and FeO particles having FeO as a principal component to the chromium containing molten steel to transfer phosphorus oxide formed at a reaction of O derived from the FeO with the phosphorus in the chromium containing molten steel to slag formed by the CaO from the chromium containing molten steel. The particle size of the FeO particle is two times or more than that of the CaO particles. 【課題】炭素含有量にかかわらず適用可能な含クロム溶鋼の精錬方法を提供する。【解決手段】含クロム溶鋼からリンを除去する含クロム溶鋼の精錬方法は、含クロム溶鋼にCaOを主成分とするCaO粒子及びFeOを主成分とするFeO粒子を添加して、前記FeO由来のOと前記含クロム溶鋼中の前記リンとの反応で生成される酸化リンを、前記含クロム溶鋼から前記CaOにより生成されるスラグに移行させる脱リン工程を備え、 前記FeO粒子の粒径は前記CaO粒子の粒径の2倍以上である。【選択図】 図1
