Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric vehicle capable of satisfying an acceleration request without degradation of a battery.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a hybrid electric vehicle includes: a first motor connected to an engine, and generating electric power by power of the engine; a battery storing the electric power generated by the first motor; and a second motor driven by being supplied with the electric power by either the first motor or the battery, and includes a control device that controls at least either the engine or the first motor so as to increase a power output from the first motor if dischargeable electric power of the battery falls.
