Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift boot which has a small number of components, can be easily assembled, and has an excellent productivity.SOLUTION: A shift boot having a boot 10 covering a shift lever 40 and a fixing member 20 which is joined near a top edge of the boot 10 and is inserted in the shift lever 40, in which at a junction between the boot 10 and the fixing member 20, a weld layer 31, in which the boot 10 and the fixing member 20 are respectively molten and are integrally bonded. Consequently, the fixing member 20 and the boot 10 can be joined without a separate component for fixing, whereby the number of components of the shift boot 1 can be reduced. Further, a work for reversing the boot 10, a work for reversing the boot again in order to restore the boot, a work for mounting a band, a work for sewing a ring and so on are not needed, whereby the shift boot 1 can be easily assembled and can be improved in productivity thereof. 【課題】部品点数が少なく容易に組み立てることができる生産性に優れたシフトブーツを提供する。【解決手段】シフトレバー40を覆うブーツ10と、ブーツ10の上端近傍に接合されシフトレバー40に挿着される固定用部材20と、を有し、ブーツ10と固定用部材20との接合部には、ブーツ10及び固定用部材20が各々溶融して一体的に固着した溶着層31が形成される。これにより、固定のための部品を別途必要とせずに、固定用部材20とブーツ10とを接合することができ、シフトブーツ1の部品点数を削減することができる。また、ブーツ10を裏返す作業や元に戻すために再度反転させる作業、バンドを装着する作業やリングを縫い込む作業等が必要なくなり、シフトブーツ1の組立が容易になり、生産性が向上する。【選択図】図2
