Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in the cost of a distillation apparatus that has a plurality of distillation columns and furthermore to reduce a total energy consumption of the distillation apparatus.SOLUTION: The distillation apparatus includes a first distillation column and one or more second distillation columns. The first distillation column includes: a high pressure part that includes the whole or a part of a concentration part and makes gas-liquid contact at a relatively high pressure; a low pressure part that includes the whole or a part of a recovery part and makes liquid-gas contact at a relatively low pressure; a steam line including pressure increasing means that guides steam discharged out of the column apex of the low pressure part to the column bottom of the high pressure part; and a liquid line that guides liquid discharged out of the column bottom of the low pressure part to the column apex of the low pressure part. The distillation apparatus further includes: a first heat exchange structure so constituted as to transfer heat from the concentration part of the first distillation column to at least one distillation column of one or more second distillation columns by heat exchange; and a second heat exchange structure so constituted as to transfer heat from at least one distillation column of one or more second distillation columns to the recovery part of the first distillation column.
