Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor capable of emitting a bright-line luminous component by a UV ray or UV light.SOLUTION: A phosphor has a composition represented by the general formula: LnSiO, where Ln is a group of elements including at least Ce, Eu and Tb. The phosphor is excited by a UV ray or UV light, and can radiate at least a bright-line red light component caused by Eu. Thereby, the present invention can provide illumination light that realizes both high efficiency and high color rendering. 【課題】紫外線又は紫外光により輝線状の発光成分を放出することが可能な蛍光体を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の蛍光体は、一般式:Ln2SiO5(式中、Lnは、少なくともCeとEuとTbとを含む元素群である)で示される組成を有する。当該蛍光体は、紫外線又は紫外光により励起され、少なくともEu3+に起因する輝線状の赤色光成分を放射することができる。そのため、高効率と高演色性とを両立する照明光を得ることが可能となる。【選択図】図6
