Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover and effectively use pentamethylenediamine remaining in a distillation residue after obtaining pentamethylenediamine by distillation from crude pentamethylenediamine such as crude pentamethylenediamine derived from plants.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing pentamethylenediamine for separating pentamethylenediamine and a distillation residue by distillation of crude pentamethylenediamine and further recovering pentamethylenediamine from the distillation residue. The pentamethylenediamine recovered from the distillation residue is preferably at 5 wt.% or more based on the distillation residue. There is provided a method for manufacturing a polyimide resin by a polycondensation reaction of pentamethylenediamine manufactured by the method and dicarboxylic acid as monomer components. 【課題】植物由来で得られた粗ペンタメチレンジアミン等の粗ペンタメチレンジアミンから蒸留によってペンタメチレンジアミンを得た後の蒸留残渣中になお残留するペンタメチレンジアミンを回収して有効利用する。【解決手段】粗ペンタメチレンジアミンを蒸留することによりペンタメチレンジアミンと蒸留残渣とに分離し、該蒸留残渣より、更にペンタメチレンジアミンを回収するペンタメチレンジアミンの製造方法。蒸留残渣より回収するペンタメチレンジアミンは、蒸留残渣に対し5重量%以上であることが好ましい。この方法で製造されたペンタメチレンジアミンとジカルボン酸とを単量体成分として重縮合反応するポリアミド樹脂の製造方法。【選択図】図3
