Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fine video in which image shake is corrected while suppressing reduction in image quality which may be caused by image shake correction processing.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: image shake correction means based on drive of an optical member (a shift lens or the like); and image shake correction means based on geometrical deformation processing of an image. A shake detection part 111 detects a shake of the imaging apparatus, and a system control part 115 performs drive control of the optical member composing an imaging optical system 101 on the basis of a shake detection signal. A geometrical deformation quantity calculation part 106 calculates a geometrical deformation quantity for image shake correction on the basis of optical information of the imaging optical system. A geometrical deformation processing part 107 performs geometrical deformation processing for a captured image on the basis of a calculation result of the geometrical deformation quantity. A synthesis rate calculation part 114 calculates a synthesis rate to be used for synthesis of a plurality of images on the basis of a correction quantity of the optical member in image capturing. An image synthesis processing part 110 performs image synthesis processing using the synthesis rate calculated by the synthesis rate calculation part 114. 【課題】像振れ補正処理に伴って生じ得る画質低下を抑えつつ、像振れ補正された良好な映像を得ること。【解決手段】撮像装置は、光学部材(シフトレンズ等)の駆動による像振れ補正手段と、画像の幾何変形処理による像振れ補正手段を備える。振れ検出部111は撮像装置の振れを検出し、システム制御部115は振れ検出信号に基づいて、撮像光学系101を構成する光学部材の駆動制御を行う。幾何変形量算出部106は、撮像光学系の光学情報に基づいて、像振れ補正を行う際の幾何変形量を算出する。幾何変形処理部107は、幾何変形量の算出結果に基づいて、撮像された画像に対する幾何変形処理を行う。合成率算出部114は、撮影時の光学部材の補正量に基づいて複数の画像の合成に用いる合成率を算出する。画像合成処理部110は、合成率算出部114が算出した合成率を用いて画像合成処理を行う。【選択図】 図1
