Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for controlling a spin current and to provide a circuit for controlling the spin current ON/OFF by using the spin current control mechanism or a logical circuit using the spin current.SOLUTION: The spin current control device includes: a spin injection section that injects a spin into a non-magnetic conductor 10; and a spin current control section that controls the spin current injected by the spin injection section and diffuses the same in the non-magnetic conductor. The spin current control section includes: a ferromagnetic substance 31 in which a magnetic wall 32 is inserted; and a current source 35 that flows a control current to the ferromagnetic substance 31 to thereby move the magnetic wall. The spin current is shut off by affecting an electric field generated on the spin current diffused in the non-magnetic conductor together with the movement of the magnetic wall. 【課題】スピン流を制御する機構を提供し、更に、そのスピン流制御機構を用いてスピン流をオン・オフ制御する回路あるいはスピン流を用いた論理回路を提供する。【解決手段】非磁性導電体10にスピン注入するスピン注入部と、スピン注入部から注入され非磁性導電体中を拡散するスピン流を制御するスピン流制御部とを有する。スピン流制御部は、磁壁32が挿入された強磁性体31と、強磁性体31に制御電流を流して磁壁を移動させる電流源35とを有し、非磁性導電体中を拡散するスピン流に磁壁移動に伴って発生する電場を作用させることによってスピン流を遮断する。【選択図】図1
