Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for a rotary electric machine, which is able to achieve both a decrease in an amount of cord used for binding coil end parts and the prevention of movement of the coil end part of the outermost phase wind, which is the outermost circumference of a stator core, and to provide an on-vehicle motor compressor that has the stator for the rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: At least three teeth 46A, 46B, and 46C are arranged between a pair of slot parts 49U continuing to the coil end parts 50U of the outermost phase wind 48U. The coil end parts 50U of the outermost phase wind 48U are tightly bound by inserting cords 60 in spaces in the vicinity of the two teeth 46A, 46C arranged on both ends other than the tooth 46B disposed in the middle of at least the three teeth 46A, 46B, and 46C in a space SU. 【課題】コイルエンド部を緊縛する紐の使用量の低減と、ステータコアにおいて最外周となる最外相巻線のコイルエンド部の移動防止とを両立させることのできる回転電機の固定子およびその回転電機の固定子を備えた車載用電動圧縮機の提供にある。【解決手段】最外相巻線48Uのコイルエンド部50Uに連続する一対のスロット部49Uの間には、少なくとも3つのティース46A、46B、46Cが配置されており、最外相巻線48Uのコイルエンド部50Uは、空間SU内において、少なくとも3つのティース46A、46B、46Cのうち中央に配置されるティース46Bを除いて両端側に配置される2つのティース46A、46Cの近傍のみに紐60を挿通することによって緊縛されている。【選択図】 図5
