PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic absorbent that can hold an internal space even when it is used for a long term and can keep a sound absorption effect for a long term.SOLUTION: The acoustic absorbent (1) of the present invention includes a space formation material (3) and fiber sheets (4), and an air layer is formed between the fiber sheets by stacking the fiber sheets (4) on both front and rear surfaces of the space formation material (3). A frame body (2) for fixing is attached to the periphery of the acoustic absorbent (1) to provide an acoustic absorbent (5) having a frame body for fixing, and the acoustic absorbent (5) is suitable to be interposed and fixed, for use, between a ladder sleeper and a rail. 【課題】長期間使用しても内部空間を保持でき、吸音効果を長期間にわたり維持できる吸音材を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の吸音材(1)は、空間形成材料(3)と繊維シート(4)を含み、空間形成材料(3)の表裏両面に繊維シート(4)が積層されていることにより前記繊維シート同士の間に空気層が形成されている。吸音材(1)の周囲には固定用枠体(2)を取り付けて固定用枠体付き吸音材(5)とし、ラダー枕木とレールの間に介在させ固定して使用するのに好適である。【選択図】図１
