Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clock generator, an electronic apparatus, a mobile body, and a clock generation method that can generate a clock signal having a relatively high frequency stability while reducing wasteful power consumption.SOLUTION: A clock generator 1 measures a frequency ratio between a clock signal CK1 (32.768 kHz+α) and a reference frequency value with reference to a clock signal CK3 (25 MHz), generates a clock signal CK2 having a masked part of clocks of the clock signal CK1 on the basis of a measurement result of the frequency ratio, and controls a measurement interval of the frequency ratio on the basis of a difference between the measurement result of the frequency ratio and N (N is a natural number) average values of the measurement result of the frequency ratio. 【課題】無駄な消費電力を低減しながら周波数安定度が比較的高いクロック信号を生成可能なクロック生成装置、電子機器、移動体及びクロック生成方法を提供すること。【解決手段】クロック生成装置1は、クロック信号CK3(25MHz)を基準としてクロック信号CK1(32.768kHz+αと基準周波数値との周波数比を測定し、周波数比の測定結果に基づきクロック信号CK1の一部のクロックがマスクされたクロック信号CK2を生成し、周波数比の測定結果と周波数比の測定結果のN個(Nは自然数)の平均値との差分に基づき周波数比の測定間隔を制御する。【選択図】図1
