Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of preventing reduction of detection accuracy of a touch operation made thereon even when noises are generated caused from a liquid crystal display.SOLUTION: Detecting noises from the external caused from a liquid crystal display, a signal controller 8 shifts to a mode 2. After shifting to the mode 2, the signal controller 8 controls 1H of an image signal to T2 which is shorter than the 1H (T1) in the mode 1. A sensor control circuit 13 receives a timing signal 1 which is generated by the signal controller 8 in synchronism with the image signal in one frame period, and generates a sensor signal for driving a sensor drive circuit 6 and a signal detection circuit 7 in synchronism with the received timing signal. The sensor drive circuit 6 supplies a drive signal to a drive electrode 11 corresponding to the sensor signal generated by the sensor control circuit 13. The signal detection circuit 7 receives the detection signal according to the sensor signal. 【課題】入力装置において、液晶表示起因のノイズが発生した場合に、タッチ操作時の検出精度の低下を防ぐ。【解決手段】信号制御装置8は、液晶表示に起因する外部からのノイズを検出すると、モード2に移行する。信号制御装置8は、モード2に移行すると、映像信号の1Hをモード1の1H(T1)より短いT2に設定する。センサ制御回路13は、信号制御装置8が1フレーム期間内で、映像信号に同期して生成するタイミング信号1を受信し、受信したタイミング信号に同期して、センサ駆動回路6及び信号検出回路7を駆動させるセンサ信号を生成する。センサ駆動回路6は、センサ制御回路13が生成したセンサ信号に応じて駆動信号を駆動電極11に供給する。また、信号検出回路7は、センサ信号に応じて、検出信号を受信する。【選択図】図1
