An undersurface of the upper side 7a of the back receiving support 7 is provided with a depressed part 32 that is depressed upward and that permits insertion of a fingertip when the upper side 7a is held. 【課題】背受体と背受支持体の上端部同士が結合された構造でありながら、背受支持体を把手として容易に利用することのできる椅子を提供する。【解決手段】着座者の背部の荷重を受ける背受体６の上辺１８ａと、その裏面側に配置される背受支持体７の上辺７ａとを相互に結合する。背受支持体７の上辺７ａの下面に、その上辺７ａが把持されるときの指先の挿入を許容する上方側に窪んだ窪み部３２を設ける。【選択図】図８
